Job DescriptionAs a Global Account Manager at Cogent Communications, you will identify new business opportunities within national and regional sales territories. Through direct calling, email, and contact efforts, you will work directly with leading IT decision-makers on current and future connectivity solutions. With consultative selling techniques, you will position Cogent's services for new business and achieve monthly revenue goals by selling into commercial and retail buildings, carrier-neutral hotels, data centers, and colocation facilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Prior experience in B2B sales with quota achievement and a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and generate new business through prospecting and research.
- 4-8+ years of solid B2B sales experience in a telecom arena with collocation and wholesale experience.
- Experienced communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with revenue deadlines.
