Embark on an exciting career opportunity with Qatar Airways as a Sales Manager in our Northern Europe Region. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will lead the Leisure sales team to exceed commercial targets and drive profitable revenue.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Stockholm. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Leisure sales team, defining strategies to maintain and increase sales through commercial actions and partnerships. You will analyze sales data, drive sales plans, and implement business- and market intelligence to maximize leisure revenue.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the Leisure sales team by defining strategies to maintain and increase sales.
- Analyze sales data and use business- and market intelligence to drive and maximize leisure revenue.
- Drive, structure, and implement sales plans to optimize QR's revenue and presence in the market.
- Improve focus and alignment of key distribution channels in the assigned territories as per QR distribution strategy.
- Formulate and implement B2B strategies with the sales team to maximize revenue from existing accounts and drive revenue streams from new business.
- Negotiate partner incentive agreements and develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with them.
- Manage and coordinate sales projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in head office and region to develop short/medium term local sales incentives strategy.
- Work effectively with Sales Force, Tableau, and Excel.
- Engage in joint sales and marketing activities to grow the level and quality of Qatar Airways revenue.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 6 years of job-related experience ideally within airlines, travel, transport, or hospitality
- Strong leadership experience, proven ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a cross-border team
- Strong negotiating, influencing, and communication skills
- Budget planning experience
- Dedicated problem-solving and team player skills, being confident in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong understanding of airline processes (e.g., Pricing/Distribution technology), systems (e.g., Amadeus, GDSes), and travel industry in general
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel)
- Knowledge of Sales Force and Tableau is beneficial
- Fluency in English and Scandinavian language (written and spoken) is essential
