Job Title: DSP Key Account Manager

Epidemic Sound is a leading music licensing company that empowers creators to soundtrack the world. We are seeking a highly skilled DSP Key Account Manager to join our Music department, reporting to the Director of Music Distribution.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our DSP partners, ensuring our catalog receives the attention it deserves through effective playlisting opportunities. This includes pitching and promoting our catalog to key accounts, working closely with our team of APMs and A&Rs to ensure catalog efficiency and maximum impact of our releases via editorial playlisting opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and nurture relationships with DSP partners to execute on playlisting opportunities
  • Pitch our releases effectively, maximizing revenue and visibility through direct interactions and platform tools like Spotify for Artists
  • Provide various assets, such as release descriptions, for new releases and pitches
  • Seek out and cultivate new relationships with DSPs globally to increase our reach and drive growth
  • Report performance metrics for assigned accounts in a timely fashion
  • Utilize data to take informed actions based on insights to improve streams, visibility, and revenue of the catalog on DSPs
  • Act as a knowledgeable source of information about the streaming landscape, keeping up to date with trends and best practices, and communicating these effectively internally
  • Contribute to team OKRs to ensure initiatives, processes, and programs are achieved
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of the music industry and a broad range of musical genres
  • 5+ years industry experience, and 2+ years working in a similar position
  • Proven track record of growing revenues through key account management
  • Extensive knowledge of leading digital music platforms
  • Solid understanding of sales strategy and how it can be used to strengthen DSP results
  • Comfortable and experienced in working with complex analytical tasks to maximize results
  • Thorough experience with organizing work, both through structured administration and creating ways to document and share accurate information
  • Great at identifying opportunities, proactively acting, and capitalizing on them
