**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Global Account Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key customer relationships and driving business development within the automotive vertical.

About the Role:

The Global Key Account Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in leading strategic initiatives and working across multiple services to bring innovative solutions to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to lead commercial customer journeys, including relationship management and business development activities for a dedicated portfolio of accounts.

  • Manage key accounts according to agreed targets and company guidelines, identifying customer needs and promoting Kuehne+Nagel's service portfolio.
  • Gain deep understanding of the customer's business model, decision-making processes, and competitive environment.
  • Negotiate rates and service contracts with customers, ensuring that all commercial requirements are documented and maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with Kuehne+Nagel sales management systems (CRM/CoreLog), maintaining up-to-date and accurate information.
Requirements:

To succeed as a Sales and Business Development Professional, you will need:

  • Bachelor's in International Studies, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master's in Supply Chain preferred.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Proven success in business development, consultative selling, and up/cross-selling.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain logistics (air, sea, road, contract logistics).
