**Job Overview:**
We are looking for a Senior Logistics Account Manager - Automotive Sector to manage key customer relationships and drive business development within the automotive vertical.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to lead commercial customer journeys, including relationship management and business development activities for a dedicated portfolio of accounts. As the primary Kuehne+Nagel representative, you will qualify account intelligence, translate this into actionable business targets, and ensure these are captured in an evolving customer strategy.
- Build strong, direct relationships with key customer stakeholders and manage key account activities in line with Kuehne+Nagel's Key Account Program guidelines.
- Lead structured review sessions with customers to assess strategy, priorities, and operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence in collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers.
To succeed as a Sales and Business Development Expert, you will need:
- Bachelor's in International Studies, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master's in Supply Chain preferred.
- 5-10 years of sales experience, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Proven success in business development, consultative selling, and up/cross-selling.
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics (air, sea, road, contract logistics).
