Gruppo SKF is seeking a skilled sales professional to join our SKF Automotive Sales Sweden team as a Key Account Professional.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of shaping a new business unit focused on meeting the needs of the transforming global automotive market.
In this position, you will have the chance to take part in the electrification journey of the automotive industry and drive innovation around rotating shafts in vehicles while managing the business with one of Gruppo SKF's largest customers.
As a Key Account Professional, you will work closely with other sales teams, manufacturing units, product development, business development, and all other support functions to ensure profitable growth and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Grow Business
- Identify customer needs and match these needs to Gruppo SKF's long-term growth plan.
- Accountable for achieving profitable growth, pricing, and cost development.
- Develop and negotiate global quotes and contracts aligned with Gruppo SKF's global sales teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely payments and order book quality.
- MSc Engineering degree or equivalent Finance/Sales/Marketing degree with proven engineering ability.
- Automotive industry experience and/or education is merited.
- Understand market needs, leading to right Gruppo SKF positioning, considering competitive advantages, value proposition, and making appropriate commercial decisions.
- Business development and/or sales experience.
- Technical knowledge in automotive systems and applications is an advantage.
- Professional communication skills both written and spoken in English and Swedish are required.
