Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to work with both new and existing clients in the Public Sector from our office in Solna.
As a seasoned sales professional, you will address the most pressing priorities of your clients. You will identify opportunities for account retention and expansion through contract growth, as well as the introduction of new services and products. This is a field-based position, focusing on direct sales to large enterprise clients, specifically organizations with annual revenues exceeding $750 million, which includes 77% of the Global Fortune 500.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve a quota of over $1 million in contract value across 5-10 large enterprise accounts.
- Establish trust-based, value-driven relationships with C-level executives and their teams, primarily focusing on the CIO and their office.
- Enhance account retention and growth by addressing their most critical priorities and demonstrating the value of Gartner's offerings.
- Generate new business with new clients through networking, events, and personal prospecting efforts.
- Leverage industry knowledge specific to your market segment, staying informed on trends to ensure an effective go-to-market strategy.
- Collaborate across teams, regions, and departments, sharing best practices to ensure a top-tier approach to strategic initiatives and growth plans.
- Contribute to improving diversity, mentoring fellow associates, and fostering team growth within an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant sales experience, including at least 2 years in a technology or IT environment. Direct sales experience within a software vendor, system integrator, IT consultancy, or similar context is highly relevant for this role.
- Proven experience selling to senior leaders, preferably CIOs.
- A history of consistently exceeding goals and targets.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in both Swedish and English is required.
- Familiarity with the Challenger Sales methodology or similar sales techniques is advantageous.
