Gartner is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Sector Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional value to our Public Sector clients in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and retention in the Public Sector market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and their teams, primarily the CIO and CIO office.
  • Drive account retention and growth by impacting clients' most critical priorities and demonstrating Gartner's value.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, events, and prospecting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and utilize this knowledge to ensure an effective go-to-market approach.
  • Collaborate across teams, regions, and departments to share best practices and ensure a best-in-class approach to strategic initiatives and growth plans.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience, with at least 2 years in a tech/IT environment.
  • Direct sales experience within a software vendor, system integrator, IT consultancy & services, or a similar environment is highly relevant for this role.
  • Experience selling to senior leaders, preferably the CIO.
  • A track record of consistent (over)achievement on your goals and targets.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
