Position at Wind River Territory Account Manager

Location: EMEA Region
Reports to: Head of Sales, Aerospace & Defense
Job Type: Regular, full-time

Role Summary:

The Wind River sales team is a cornerstone of our organization, fostering collaborative and strategic partnerships with customers to maximize the potential of Wind River solutions. Our goal is to establish ourselves as the leading provider of innovative solutions and services, engaging with senior management in a visionary capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with potential customers to promote Wind River solutions.
  • Collaborate with Field Application Engineers to facilitate technical sales processes.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Conduct meetings with current and prospective clients to assess their business and technical needs.
  • Present technical product demonstrations and manage discovery sessions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts to meet quarterly and annual targets.
  • Review and negotiate complex sales contracts with clients.
  • Stay informed about competitive products and market trends.
  • Ensure accurate customer and contact information is maintained in the CRM system.

Who You Will Collaborate With:

  • A diverse team of professionals across Wind River, including pre-sales technical experts and sales administration.
  • Internal sales experts to evaluate business opportunities.
  • Global sales teams to share best practices and tools for achieving revenue goals.
  • Marketing teams to develop strategic campaigns and assess their effectiveness.
  • Field Account Teams to design and implement tailored prospecting strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical sales with a proven track record.
  • Experience in embedded software sales and cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
  • Strong consultative and solutions-oriented sales approach.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of Swedish or other Nordic languages is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
