Job Description:

The Customer Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by developing and implementing mutually profitable business plans with our customers. This will involve delivering on set targets, such as net sales and margin, while also identifying and capitalizing on category growth opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators:

  1. Deliver quarterly and annual net sales/margin targets/market shares through the development and implementation of effective business plans.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of the retailer strategy, shopper behavior, and category growth opportunities to inform business decisions.
  3. Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and capitalize on category growth opportunities that benefit both Colgate and the customer.
  4. Own the input and delivery of accurate customer forecasts, including volume, sales, and investment data.
  5. Work closely with marketing and the field team to identify, develop, and implement business solutions that drive retailer business forward.
  6. Build strong internal and external networks to facilitate collaboration across functions and help deliver key business priorities.

Requirements:

  • A commercially astute individual with the ability to build strong business relationships and develop sustainable, mutually profitable business solutions.
  • Forward-thinking, ambitious character with strategic capabilities, able to influence and negotiate internally and externally, with a clear commitment to delivering business results in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English is essential, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
