Job Summary:

Cavotec is a leading cleantech company that designs and delivers connection and electrification solutions to enable the decarbonization of ports and industrial applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Engineer to join our team in the Nordics region.

The Role:

  • Generate business leads to new and existing customers through cold calling, site visits, and attendance at industry-related events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to identify business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Provide technical support to customers and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of Cavotec solutions.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to identify customer needs and develop new products and services that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Nordics market and customer needs to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Technical degree desired, or equivalent experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills and commercially savvy.
  • Experience in the designated Region is a plus.
  • Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar commercial experience.
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with key technical or mid-management decision makers.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel.
