Sales Trainer Role Summary:



The Sales Trainer position is a leadership role within GTT Communications, Inc. that focuses on developing and executing sales training programs to enhance the performance of sales professionals.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design and deliver training content to equip sales teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions to address them.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts to gather best practices and develop effective training content.
  • Track and analyze training program effectiveness to inform future improvements.
  • Lead web-based training sessions to engage and educate sales teams.


Requirements and Qualifications:




  • Proven sales training experience, preferably in a complex, multi-level sales environment.
  • Strong presentation and coaching skills to engage and motivate sales teams.
  • Ability to analyze training needs and develop targeted solutions.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and coaching concepts.
  • Self-motivated and organized with a strong desire to grow and develop as the company expands.


Desirable Qualifications:




  • 3+ years of sales training experience, preferably in the telecom or data networking industry.
  • Experience creating and delivering training content on sales methodologies in a large enterprise sales environment.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills to develop and deliver engaging training content.

  • Sales Function: Understanding of sales functions and features to conduct daily and strategic activities within the sales team.
  • Live Instruction: Knowledge of tools and approaches for live instruction to deliver training courses and facilitate audience learning.
  • Sales Training: Understanding of sales training methodologies to ensure sales teams have the necessary knowledge and skills to meet both tactical and strategic sales objectives.
  • Training and Development: Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies to equip sales teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet both tactical and strategic objectives.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Understanding of tools, techniques, and methods for training needs analysis to identify what sales teams need to learn for successful individual and organizational performance.
  • Training Technologies: Familiarity with training tools and techniques to utilize software, technologies, and applications for the creation and development of training programs and processes.
