Store Team Lead - Sales and Visual Merchandising Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated Store Team Lead to join our team at JD Sports - Nordics.

About the Role:

  • To supervise and assist in maximizing store profitability by exceeding sales targets and utilizing in-store devices, while contributing to a successful store team.
  • To ensure customers receive the best possible service by the team and uphold store standards and guidelines.
  • To train new team members, support administrative duties, and assist senior management as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service
  • To maintain and improve the level of customer service, always be a team player, and lead by example with customers in focus.
  • To acknowledge customers, maintain consistent awareness of their needs for attention, and provide courteous, considerate, and responsible service.
  • To select appropriate stock for customers, direct them to or bring alternatives as applicable, and make customers aware of new stock or future requirements.
Sales
  • To attend to and sell to as many customers as possible, deal with and sell to more than one customer at a time as circumstances require, and support the team to ensure all customers are attended to.
  • To become familiar with the layout of all stock presented and held in order to make the most of potential sales.
  • To ensure any up-to-date promotions and presentations of stock are carried out as directed, use all selling skills effectively, and introduce accessories when necessary.
Visual Merchandising
  • To assist in maintaining standards on the shop floor, keep stock clean and presentable at all times, replenish stock levels when needed, and ensure product is priced correctly.
  • To keep all displays up to date and ensure that the standard of service given encourages customers to return soon.

Requirements:

  • A strong communication and leadership skillset, team player mindset, confident, and outgoing personality.
  • Effective selling skills, ability to work within departments, and carry out other duties as required.
