Technical Excellence

This role requires delivering exceptional technical support to our global workforce with a strong emphasis on ticket resolution and escalation.

  1. Resolution and processing of incident and request tickets.
  2. Escalating and routing issues to service teams.
  3. Communication regarding ticket status.
  4. First point of contact responding to in-channel support requests.

You will report directly to the Associate Manager, IT Support, and be responsible for providing high-level technical and customer service to our global workforce.

Accountabilities

  1. Triage, resolve, or escalate incidents/critical incidents in a timely manner.
  2. Guide on-site teams with incident/request ticket-type prioritization.
  3. Provide end-user support for applications and systems.
  4. Manage account lifecycles from new hires to account deactivations.
  5. Utilize various IT support tools.
  6. Conversant in iOS and Android mobile device troubleshooting.
  7. Proactively create and update documentation using a Wiki.
  8. Mentor customers and deliver team and end-user training as required.
  9. Install software using remote desktop tools.
  10. Possess working knowledge of best practices for Windows system support.

Competencies

  1. Experience in hardware installation and troubleshooting of PCs and Macs.
  2. Excellent organizational skills and customer service orientation.
  3. Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions.
  4. Capacity to gather and translate user expectations into technical solutions.
  5. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and email systems.
  6. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
  7. Awareness of IT security standards and principles.
  8. ITIL/PRINCE2 experience is a bonus.
  9. Basic understanding of internal networks.
  10. Fluent written and spoken English.
