About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational International Key Account Manager to join our Market Area Scandinavia/EMEA team at our showroom in Stockholm.

As our International Key Account Manager, you will focus on new customer acquisition in defined markets and develop existing customer base. You will be developing long-term client relationships to drive targeted sales revenue and profitable business models while increasing Marimekko's omni-channel brand presence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and New Customer Acquisition
  • Implementing the Wholesale Business Strategy in defined key markets in Europe
  • Delivering the Annual Sales and EBIT Budget for defined areas of responsibility
  • Developing Long-Term Partnerships with our key Wholesale clients
  • Improving Omni-Channel Performance as a member of the Wholesale Team
  • Increasing Brand Awareness with defined international key accounts
  • Defining and Guiding the GTM & Sell-In Process for international Wholesale Accounts in the Region
  • Negotiating Trade Terms with new customers in collaboration with the Head of Wholesale
  • Planning Marketing Activities for key accounts in collaboration with the Marimekko Marketing team
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience working within fashion or home sales
  • A wide international wholesale network
  • True passion for prospecting and building long-term relationships that translate to business
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional projects in a matrix organization
  • Commercial and business acumen with ability to manage P&L
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • A proven track record of successful account management
  • A deep understanding of the European WHS, retail, and shopper landscape
  • A results-driven and commercial mindset
  • Willingness for frequent international travel
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
