Job Summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to join our pre-sales team as a Director of Pre-Sales Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading pre-sales efforts in the Nordics region, focusing on complex strategic accounts.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts, working closely with sales organizations and technical teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and technical decision-makers.
  • Coach and mentor new team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Guide your team to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency in supporting sales cycles.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience in pre-sales manager or director roles, with a strong background in data and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in scaling and mentoring field and technical teams.
  • Knowledgeable in data-driven decisions, AI, analytics, and cloud software models.
  • Market experience in the EMEA region, with a strong understanding of business needs and revenue potential.
