About the Role
This leadership opportunity offers the chance to capitalize on strategic accounts and manage complex sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing, and sales support. As a Regional Sales Director for Customer Base Account Executives, you will lead, coach, and mentor the team, helping them improve long-term revenue opportunities with existing customers. Your team will secure renewals and grow relationships with valued existing customers, ensuring an excellent engagement experience during the up-sell and renewal process.

The ideal candidate will be a key leader passionate about driving new business for Workday within the existing customer base in Sweden and Norway. You will use your experience to lead, coach, and mentor a field sales team for your assigned territory. Employing effective selling strategies to position Workday as a viable cloud partner of choice compared to legacy ERP solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 12+ years of field sales & management experience at a SaaS company, ideally focused on upselling/renewals within an existing customer base. Experience selling cloud/SaaS/ERP solutions. Experience cultivating relationships with partners and alliances.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue/quota attainment. Experience as a leader in a successful team selling environment. Experience addressing C-level customers with a value. Experience in value-based selling.
- Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape by staying up to date with trends and customer needs to effectively position Workday solutions within accounts. Proven experience pulling together departments or business units to maximize sales. Experience maintaining accurate forecasting data and business modeling for senior leadership.
