Job Summary

The Endoluminal Sales Manager is responsible for selling the ION Endoluminal System to greenfield and existing hospitals within their assigned territory. This requires a unique blend of skills, including expert-level knowledge of diagnostic robotics, strong solution selling skills, and the ability to build a team of advocates within each hospital.

The ideal candidate will provide an exceptional level of information gathering and presenting to buying teams throughout the capital equipment purchasing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complex sales process of ION Endoluminal Systems into new hospitals
  • Build clinical and administrative support through technical presentations, executive meetings, marketing events, and system test drives
  • Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales of the ION Endoluminal System within an assigned sales territory
  • Effectively manage transition of initial sale and installation to the clinical sales team to drive procedural volume and growth
  • Extensive travel, approximately 70%
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Work with the Endoluminal Sales Director to develop a sales plan for the ESM's local territory
  • Build advocacy teams at each hospital
  • Develop initial contact and relationship with CEO and senior hospital administrators
  • Organize and manage the sales process
  • Develop expert-level knowledge of primary diagnostic bronchoscopy procedures
  • Make business case for system purchase
  • Resolve contractual issues and coordinate system installation upon purchase approval
  • Handle all communications and administrative follow-up
Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years medical device sales experience
  • Knowledge of the endoscopy/bronchoscopy/operating room environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Capital medical equipment sales
  • Sales management experience
