Job Description

To Samsung, we are now seeking a Channel Marketing Lead to drive sales and activation.

The Channel Marketing Lead will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to bring concepts to major sales channels. This includes ensuring sell-through activation in channels/stores where Samsung products are represented and sold.

Co-hosted events are another area where the CML will be responsible for planning and execution.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Create marketing business plans with key partners in partnership with Key Account Managers for selected customers (resellers and customers).
  • Optimize Samsung brand presence with resellers; ATL, BTL, CRM, homepage, and in-store with dedicated customers for our products within the MX Division; Smartphone & Connected Devices.
  • Be responsible for marketing business planning with key operators and customers: yearly, quarterly channel, and monthly activation planning with customer and sales.
  • Understand the business strategy for the given customers and operators as well as key consumer and shopper strategies.
  • Together with sales, set the omni-channel strategy and secure the best presence and mix of activation for given product groups and customers. Ownership of Samsung branded presence online and in-store in given resellers.
  • Plan fixed installations, as well as secure share of voice for branded retail, as well as ROI.
  • Work with MX teams and organize and execute work needed to reach existing and new customers.
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A university degree within marketing and communication.
  • A couple of years of experience within Customer/Channel Marketing roles measured on sell-out growth.
  • Previous experience having the same responsibilities described for this role.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English in speech and writing.

To succeed in this role, you should be a doer and open to ideas and new ways of thinking. You should also have great analytical skills and be open to change.
