Cogent Communications is a leading provider of high-speed Internet access and Ethernet transport services. As a Global Account Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within national and regional sales territories
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at top commercial and retail buildings, carrier-neutral hotels, data centers, and colocation facilities
  • Utilize consultative and relationship-building selling techniques to position Cogent's services for new business
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals through effective sales and marketing strategies
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in direct hunting, B2B sales, and quota achievement
  • Ability to identify, qualify, and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research
  • 4-8+ years of solid, B2B sales experience in a telecom arena with collocation and wholesale experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with revenue deadlines
