About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in exploring new sales channels, identifying opportunities for growth, and promoting Texthelp's solutions in the Swedish market. You will work closely with our Product Owners and Marketing Team to develop a strategic market approach and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to optimize your strategy.

Your sales approach should be value-based, structured, and strategic, with a diplomatic, tactical, and persuasive mindset. Strong listening and understanding skills are essential for building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at different organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within public sector and corporate organizations.
  • Pipeline Management: Build a strong pipeline by managing marketing leads and inbound inquiries.
  • Sales Engagement: Initiate contact with potential clients via phone, email, and social media.
  • Sales Forecasting: Maintain a dynamic pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare quotations, proposals, and business cases to secure new business and manage the entire sales process from start to finish.
  • Event Participation: Attend events and trade shows to promote Texthelp's solutions and actively network.
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about competitor activity to effectively position Texthelp's solutions.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system to track all sales activities and customer journeys.
  • Closing Deals: Close large, complex deals with long sales cycles, building strategic relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of generating sales and winning new business.
  • Strong Relationships: Minimum 3 years of experience in building strong personal relationships and delivering outstanding customer service at all levels.
  • Sales Performance: A proven ability to consistently meet targets while prioritizing and delivering an exceptional sales experience—especially via digital channels.
  • Technical Skills: Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems, and proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: Experience in selling similar tools or to a similar target audience.
  • Revenue Growth: Proven track record of driving revenue growth through new business acquisition within the public sector.
  • Social Media: Demonstrated ability to leverage social media and an established professional network (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) to enhance personal and company visibility in a B2B environment.
  • Educational Background: A relevant higher education degree.
  • Sales Methodology: Experience working with the MEDDPICC sales methodology and an understanding of its processes for handling complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
