We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our Enterprise IT Operations Management Software portfolio team at OpenText. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading pursuits in focused territories, driving campaigns to build the pipeline, and using your expertise to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.
Your ImpactYou will have named accounts allocated and cover a designated geography, with a broad defined set of customers in Sweden and Denmark. The position will be based out of Sweden.
What We Offer- Direct software sales experience
- Experience in hunting or new business sales
- Experience in the Enterprise/IT Service Management space is a must. Experience in selling ITOM, DevOps, Hybrid IT solutions is a bonus
- Works closely with the extended sales team with PreSales, Professional Services, Marketing, and Channel team in building an effective pipeline
- Good communication in English language and fluent in Swedish
- Considered to master in knowledge of products, solutions, or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to sell large, complex solutions
- Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts - prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals
- In-depth knowledge of the client's business, organizational structure, business processes, and financial structure
- Invest time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver or influence the sale. Use management (up to C-level) engagement skills to offer value-add solutions to the client
- Utilizes CRM (SalesForce) system as an expert and accurately forecasts business
- Provable evidence of overachieving quota in the past, diversity of business customers, higher level customer interface, and a diverse set of selling responsibilities
