Senior Account Executive

The Senior Account Executive role at Workiva Sweden AB is a challenging opportunity for a sales professional to drive growth and expansion in the Nordics market. This position requires a strong understanding of Workiva's core platform and the ability to collaborate with other sales teams to deliver multi-solution sales. The successful candidate will build relationships with executive-level buyers and influencers, identify customer needs, and develop a sales strategy to meet those needs and drive customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively seek out sales opportunities in collaboration with peer sales teams, inside sales, and partnerships to generate qualified sales pipeline
- Utilize information gathered during the needs analysis phase to deliver a compelling demonstration of the Workiva platform
- Address customer objections, remove obstacles, and find solutions to various client challenges
- Lead the sales process to a close by effectively showcasing Workiva's value proposition
- Regularly update customer relationship management tools to report customer contacts
- Provide consistent and accurate forward-looking information through pipeline analysis to forecast sales
- Develop and execute a sales strategy with purposeful action to secure the sale
- Rally internal support to pursue an account and optimize internal resources
- Prioritize selling activities and ensure timely follow-through
- Maintain a strong understanding of Workiva products through a commitment to ongoing training and a growth mindset
- Share knowledge, successes, lessons learned, and best practices with peers across teams
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in a related role, such as enterprise technology or complex solution sales. A strong business acumen, executive presence, and ability to communicate at the most senior level are essential. Fluency in English is required, with additional fluency in Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, or Swedish a plus.
Travel and Working Conditions
This role requires up to 30% travel for regular customer meetings and events. Reliable internet access is required for any period of work not spent in a Workiva office. Workiva is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and interests.
