Transforming IT Operations with OpenText

As a Senior Account Executive at OpenText, you will play a key role in driving digital innovation and transforming IT operations for our clients. With a strong background in IT service management and sales, you will leverage your expertise to help customers navigate the complexities of cloud-based IT operations and achieve their business goals.

Your Impact

You will be responsible for leading pursuits in focused territories, driving campaigns to build the pipeline, and using specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. You will have named accounts allocated and cover a designated geography, with a focus on top-tier clients in Sweden and Denmark.

What the Role Offers

  • Direct software sales experience
  • Experience in hunting or new business sales
  • Experience in the Enterprise/IT Service Management space is a must, with a bonus for experience in selling ITOM, DevOps, Hybrid IT solutions
  • Works closely with the extended sales team to build an effective pipeline

What You Need to Succeed

  • Good communication in English language and fluent in Swedish
  • Considered to master in knowledge of products, solutions, or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings
  • Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts
  • In-depth knowledge of the client's business, organizational structure, business processes, and financial structure
  • Invest time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver or influence the sale
  • Utilizes CRM (SalesForce) system as an expert and accurately forecasts business
  • Provable evidence of overachieving quota in the past, diversity of business customers, higher level customer interface, and a diverse set of selling responsibilities
