About the Job:

This Area Sales Engineer position involves generating business leads through cold calling, site visits, and attendance at industry events to develop new products, services, and agreements with existing and new customers within designated territories.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop business strategies and generate leads through networking, client outreach, and market analysis.Spend time on the road collecting data and information from customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maximizing customer satisfaction.Analyze customer needs and propose customized maintenance activities, such as inspections, upgrades, and spare parts sales, based on technical expertise and on-site experience.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers by providing technical support and resolving customer queries efficiently.Prepare and present technical presentations to explain product functionality and services offered to customers.Collaborate with the Sales Support team and Area Sales Managers to ensure that customer requirements are met and sales targets are achieved.Negotiate and close service and product opportunities effectively.Meet assigned profitable sales targets as defined by the Quota Achievement Form (QAF).Maintain accurate records of sales performance and pipeline progress tracked on the CRM system (Salesforce).Support the Regional Sales Director in developing a comprehensive business plan, including order intake, contribution margin, and revenue targets for assigned regions.Identify key consultants and major players in the area and provide them with Cavotec's technology specifications and benefits.Assist in setting up sales support activities and identifying opportunities for complex system sales (Project Business).

Requirements:

A degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering is desired, or equivalent experience.Excellent interpersonal skills and commercial acumen.Experience working in the designated region is an advantage.Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of industrial equipment and its applications.Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar commercial role (1-3 years max).Familiarity with value solution selling and ability to creatively present complex concepts.Fluency in English and strong communication skills.Will to travel regularly and adapt to changing circumstances.
