The Role

As Steep's inaugural Account Executive, you'll be at the forefront of our sales initiatives, championing the adoption of Steep in our target segments. Your success will be instrumental in Steep's next chapter of growth, driving the disruption of traditional data and analytics practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive multi-stakeholder sales processes to expand Steep's customer base.
  2. Proactively build relationships with data leaders in Europe and the US to grow your pipeline.
  3. Educate data leaders on the benefits and necessity of joining the semantic layer movement.
  4. Craft and deliver compelling pitches that clearly communicate the value of our product.
  5. Engage with senior decision-makers, earn their trust, and influence transformative decisions.
Requirements
  1. Passionate advocate: You thrive on meeting new people and winning them over. You're not just selling a product; you're championing a movement that transforms how organizations use data.
  2. Self-motivated: In a fast-paced startup, you navigate ambiguity with confidence and drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight. You're a next-steps-person who takes ownership.
  3. Proven performer: You have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding your quota. Your experience is backed by strong training in a methodology like MEDDICC or Challenger Sale.
  4. Data savvy: Ideally, you've previously advised and sold to data leaders - and you enjoy engaging in in-depth conversations with them about modern data stacks and analytics tools.
  5. Effective communicator: You demonstrate the ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels, including with C-level executives.
