Job Summary

The primary objective of a Commercial Territory Representative is to collaborate with partners to develop, qualify, manage and close sales opportunities within an assigned territory. This role is quota-driven, requiring a hunter mentality to break into new accounts and workloads. The position demands business travel, office work, and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of a strategic territory plan to align partners and account teams on territory growth strategy
  2. Manage and grow a pipeline of sales opportunities with Commercial capable partners and distributors to drive sales revenue
  3. Utilize NetApp and partner resources to create brand awareness and generate demand in assigned territories
  4. Deliver NetApp strategy, vision, and messaging to customers, prospects, and partners
  5. Ensure sales forecasting accuracy, linearity, and operational hygiene to achieve business management excellence
  6. Provide sales support within the partner community to improve communication, collaboration, and accountability specific to pipeline generation and closing opportunities within assigned territories
  7. Lead the development and implementation of the strategic Go-to-Market plan for assigned territories ensuring that both internal and external resources are actively engaged & contributing
