Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading and growing our business sales with key accounts, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and driving business growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow business sales with key accounts, both existing and new, through strategic planning, forecasting, and campaign management.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including Grocery sales professionals and other industry experts.
  • Take full P&L responsibility for key customer accounts, including market analysis, competitor activity, and customer insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Controllers, Marketing, Channel Managers, and other internal stakeholders to drive business growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for business growth and market expansion through market analysis, competitor activity, and customer insights.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Provide informal leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior members of the team.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key customers, including prices and central campaigns.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in key account management or a similar senior-level sales role within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing Grocery key accounts and driving sales growth.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze market data and identify opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
  • University degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

About the Role

This role is based at our office in Stockholm, Sweden, and you will report directly to the Nordic Commercial Grocery Manager. Travel within Sweden and the Nordics region is required for this role.
