The Role and the Team:
We are seeking an energetic and sales-focused Business Development Manager/Director to join our Sales team. You will work closely with our Marketing and Sales development teams to secure new business by promoting Mitigram's value proposition to prospective customers. You will build and manage your own pipeline of deals and be responsible for taking them from first contact through to Sales conversion.
You will work with experienced trade finance teams to understand client needs and sell Mitigram's SaaS platform. Internally, you will collaborate with Marketing, Sales development representatives, and Customer Service teams to deliver the best experience for the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and bring in new opportunities through outbound activity, your extended network, and events.
- Deliver excellent client presentations on our market-leading solutions.
- Negotiate and close contracts with new customers.
- Leverage Mitigram's offerings and value positioning to effectively communicate and apply them to prospects' needs.
- Utilize market insights and leverage existing networks for new opportunities.
- Prospect and find your own opportunities through a mix of digital and physical channels.
- Consolidate feedback and iterate strategies to find the winning approach and best practices for Mitigram.
- Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives.
Requirements:
- A love for sales and business.
- At least 5-7+ years of B2B SaaS business development or sales experience.
- Experience/awareness/knowledge of technology solutions, cloud, and SaaS preferred.
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, Teams, etc.
- Ability to articulate technical capabilities in terms of business value.
- A strong desire to excel in software sales process.
- Strong sense of urgency and motivation to meet and exceed aggressive goals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
