The Role

TOTEME is seeking a highly experienced Product Development Director to join our team in Stockholm. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the Product Development, Production & Sourcing, Collection Planning, and Technical teams. You will work closely with the Design Director to ensure the creative vision and process are realized.

Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of 20+ people across the Product Development, Production & Sourcing, and Technical departments.
  2. Collection Planning: Oversee the development of four collections and capsules, ensuring assortment plans, budgets, and calendars are created according to targets, monitored, and delivered.
  3. Product Development: Supervise the technical aspects of the product, from pattern to store delivery, managing the relevant teams and implementing extensive quality controls and technical due diligence to ensure high-quality products.
  4. Production Management: Oversee the industrialization and production process, ensuring on-time delivery, compliance with policies and up-to-date sustainability and quality standards.
  5. Supplier Management: Source and guide the development of new suppliers in line with quality, price, sustainability, and delivery targets.
  6. Financial Management: Manage the product development and production budget, including product costs and gross margin levels.
  7. Product Innovation: Lead the development and implementation of new product categories alongside the responsible manager.
  8. Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the business' product development agenda and manage products through our Product Lifecycle Management systems.
  9. Sustainability: Be a driving force in TOTEME's social and environmental sustainability agenda.

Your Profile

  1. Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in the fashion industry, preferably within the luxury sector.
  2. Leadership: A strong leader with extensive expertise and knowledge in production and product development processes within the fashion industry.
  3. Team Development: Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  4. Strategic Projects: Proven track record of driving strategic projects and initiatives.
  5. Language: Fluent in spoken and written English.
