Business Development Director Germany

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed individual and team revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in Germany
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the digital assets sector for financial institutions and corporate clients
  • Create and manage your own sales pipeline from prospecting to closure, ensuring a healthy flow of business
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings to market demands and compliance standards
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to find new sales opportunities and potential threats
  • Negotiate and close complex deals to ensure profitable partnerships
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the Head of Sales
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with broader marketing initiatives for consistent brand messaging
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business by maintaining strong relationships with key clients in Germany

Requirements:

  • Proven sales track record in technology / financial services / digital assets with a strong focus on revenue targets
  • Solid understanding of digital assets regulations and compliance
  • Strong ability and ownership in identifying, negotiating and closing significant deals in a competitive market environment
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience (2+ years in digital assets preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Analytical skills to track sales performance and market trends
  • Established network in financial services with a talent for leveraging relationships
  • Strategic mindset with agility to adapt to market dynamics
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, drive and deep interest in digital assets
