Business Development Director Germany
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed individual and team revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in Germany
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the digital assets sector for financial institutions and corporate clients
- Create and manage your own sales pipeline from prospecting to closure, ensuring a healthy flow of business
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings to market demands and compliance standards
- Monitor market trends and competitors to find new sales opportunities and potential threats
- Negotiate and close complex deals to ensure profitable partnerships
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the Head of Sales
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with broader marketing initiatives for consistent brand messaging
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business by maintaining strong relationships with key clients in Germany
Requirements:
- Proven sales track record in technology / financial services / digital assets with a strong focus on revenue targets
- Solid understanding of digital assets regulations and compliance
- Strong ability and ownership in identifying, negotiating and closing significant deals in a competitive market environment
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (2+ years in digital assets preferred)
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Analytical skills to track sales performance and market trends
- Established network in financial services with a talent for leveraging relationships
- Strategic mindset with agility to adapt to market dynamics
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree a plus
- High level of professionalism, integrity, drive and deep interest in digital assets
