About the Role

As a Senior Nordic Market Development Specialist at UnionPay, you will play a critical role in shaping our business strategy and driving growth in the region.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement marketing projects in collaboration with key merchants to boost card usage and transaction volumes.

You will also be responsible for conducting merchant visits, performing test transactions, and managing UnionPay signage posting to ensure smooth card acceptance.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline;
  • 1-3 years' experience in business development, preferably in the payment industry or financial services;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
  • Proactive, self-driven, and highly motivated to achieve results;
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is mandatory; proficiency in any Nordic language is desirable;
