Qatar Airways is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager (Leisure) to lead our Northern Europe Region (NEU) team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and exceeding commercial targets.
About the RoleAs Sales Manager (Leisure), you will be responsible for leading the Leisure sales team within the region to achieve commercial targets. You will analyze sales data, use business and market intelligence to drive revenue growth, and develop and implement sales plans to optimize QR's revenue and presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Leisure sales team by defining the strategy to maintain and increase sales through commercial actions and partnerships.
- Analyze sales data and use business and market intelligence to drive and maximize leisure revenue.
- Drive, structure, and implement sales plans to optimize QR's revenue and presence in the market.
- Improve focus and alignment of key distribution channels in the assigned territories as per QR distribution strategy.
- Formulate and implement B2B strategies with the sales team to maximize revenue from existing accounts and drive revenue streams from new business.
- Negotiate partner incentive agreements and develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with them.
- Manage and coordinate sales projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in head office and region to develop short/medium-term local sales incentives strategy.
- Work effectively with Sales Force, Tableau, and Excel.
- Engage in joint sales and marketing activities to grow the level and quality of Qatar Airways revenue.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 6 years of job-related experience ideally within airlines, travel, transport, or hospitality.
- Strong leadership experience, proven ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a cross-border team.
- Strong negotiating, influencing, and communication skills.
- Budget planning experience.
- Dedicated problem-solving and team player skills, being confident in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong understanding of airline processes (e.g., Pricing/Distribution technology), systems (e.g., Amadeus, GDSes), and travel industry in general.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
- Knowledge of Sales Force and Tableau is beneficial.
- Fluency in English and Scandinavian language (written and spoken) is essential.
