Head of Business Development and Growth

Mantell Associates is partnered with a cutting-edge Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) to find a highly skilled professional for this key role.
Key Responsibilities:- Forge, develop, and maintain business agreements that drive revenue growth and expansion
- Direct outreach initiatives to potential partners, assess opportunities, and negotiate contract terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
- Proactively identify and lead strategic partnerships or collaborative research and/or in-licensing/out-licensing opportunities with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, potential collaboration partners, and other high-value business relationships aligned with the company's vision, strategy, and long-term plans
- Oversee the implementation of the company's strategic BD & growth plans to achieve business objectives
- Stay current with competitive intelligence, staying abreast of research and development in this field to inform business decisions
- Prepare BD documents, presentations, and briefing books to effectively communicate with stakeholders
- Accountable for developing a comprehensive due diligence package, including a full assessment of external opportunities, and make recommendations for approval
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics, Life Science, or an equivalent field
- Possess several years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in a leadership role
- Able to translate excellent customer service and advice into long-term customer relationships and sales success
- Possess strong industry knowledge and stay up-to-date with market trends
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
