We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Account Manager, Telco Vertical to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving customer adoption and use of AWS services.

  1. Provide technical guidance and advocacy to help customers plan and build solutions using best practices.
  2. Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  3. Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  4. Consult with developers, C-suite executives, and other partners.
  5. Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  6. Provide detailed reviews of service events and monthly metrics.
  7. Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud.
  8. Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Experience in technical engineering.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  3. Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
  4. Experience in three (3) or more of the following areas: software design or development, content distribution/CDN, scripting/automation, database architecture, IP networking, IT security, BigData/Hadoop/Spark, operations management, service oriented architecture.
  5. Experience in design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications.
  6. Knowledge of cloud-based architecture, cloud services and experience in customer-facing roles.
