Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our Music department. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our Digital Service Provider (DSP) partners. Your primary goal will be to generate sales and growth for our catalog by executing on playlisting opportunities and promoting our music to key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management
    • Manage and nurture relationships with DSP partners to ensure our catalog receives the attention it deserves.
    • Execute on playlisting opportunities to maximize revenue and visibility.
  • Pitching and Promotion
    • Pitch our releases effectively to DSP partners using platform tools like Spotify for Artists.
    • Provide various assets, such as release descriptions, for new releases and pitches.
  • Business Development
    • Seek out and cultivate new relationships with DSPs globally to increase our reach and drive growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Report performance metrics for assigned accounts in a timely fashion.
    • Utilize data to take informed actions based on insights to improve streams, visibility, and revenue of the catalog on DSPs.
  • Industry Expertise
    • Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in the streaming music industry.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure initiatives, processes, and programs are achieved.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience, with 2+ years in a similar position.
  • Proven track record of growing revenues through key account management.
  • Extensive knowledge of leading digital music platforms.
  • Solid understanding of sales strategy and how it can be used to strengthen DSP results.
  • Comfortable working with complex analytical tasks to maximize results.
  • Thorough experience with organizing work, including structured administration and creating ways to document and share accurate information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international company.
  • Comfortable being a great ambassador towards diverse partners.
