About the Role

The Global Operations and Infrastructure Services department (GOIS) within IT&D Nordics is responsible for managing and developing DB Schenker's internal infrastructure services in Cluster Nordics; Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland.

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to join our Client Hardware and Infrastructure (CHIS) team. As a Service Manager within GOIS, you will identify, develop, and manage infrastructure services in collaboration with representatives from the business and other stakeholders within IT on a cluster, regional, and global level.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Service Enhancement and Management: Proactively identify opportunities for service enhancements and propose and execute relevant solutions.
  2. Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure services team.
  3. Service Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions.
  4. Service Request Management: Manage and prioritize incoming service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  5. Financial Planning and Analysis: Conduct financial planning, follow-up, and analysis within your service area.
  6. Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
  7. Case Management and Troubleshooting: Handle incoming cases in our ServiceNow case management system and carry out troubleshooting and error correction.
Requirements:
  1. Education: IT degree in Information Technology or related field.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of experience in service management or a related IT role.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience with print solutions such as MFP and label print.
  4. Language Skills: Fluent in English and at least one of the Nordic languages.
  5. Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
