Lime is seeking a Senior Manager, Public Policy, to lead our engagement with Government, Cities, and other public institutions in the Nordics. As a key member of our Policy and Communications team, you will develop and execute strategies to promote our shared electric mobility services across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute strategies to engage local political decision-makers and develop our activity in new territories across the Nordics.
- Manage a portfolio of existing Nordic markets, designing and executing campaigns to improve Lime's political reputation and preserve a friendly regulatory environment.
- Establish strategic relationships with city representatives, local authorities, and third-party stakeholders, building trust and mutual interest, mitigating potential obstacles, and conveying the company's priorities and strategies.
- Help local authorities, transport operators, local partners, and other relevant institutions understand how Lime's mobility solutions can work for their cities.
- Collaborate closely with other Lime team members on operations, product, marketing, and communications activities.
- Write and own a variety of written submissions on behalf of the company, including Requests for Proposals, newsletters, and reports to political stakeholders.
- Monitor and identify political developments and upcoming challenges in the Nordics.
- Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language.
- 5+ years of experience in politics, public affairs, political campaigns, and/or business development in a government-related environment.
- A deep understanding of Nordic politics and policy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and develop relationships with external third parties and experience in producing various documents.
- Ability and comfort with working independently and as part of a team.
- Creative thinker, able to imagine innovative strategies and campaigns.
- Passion for sustainable mobility, urban planning, politics, and leveraging tech innovation at the service of the general interest.
- Experience in a public institution such as City Hall or Government.
- Degree in political science, public affairs, public relations, or equivalent.
