Job Overview

AIG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fraud Investigator to join our Nordic region team. As a key member of our fraud prevention and detection unit, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks across the region.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in OSINT research, analytics, and investigations to drive business outcomes and protect AIG's interests. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate suspicious claims, identify areas for process improvement, and develop strategies to prevent future losses.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into complex insurance claims, utilizing advanced analytical techniques and industry knowledge to identify patterns and trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
  • Provide expert guidance to claims adjusters on claim handling procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Head of Fraud & Recovery to drive regional strategy and implement best practices in fraud detection and prevention.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in fraud investigation, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR, and ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Certifications in fraud investigation or related fields are highly desirable.
