Description and Requirements

As a key member of our dynamic pre-sales team, you will be responsible for managing bids for our products and services across the Nordic countries.

This role involves working closely with sales, technical, services, and product teams to develop winning proposals that meet customer requirements and align with our strategic goals.

You will take on project management tasks when responding to large complex RFPs (Request for Proposals).

  • Bid Management: You will lead the bid process on selected large bids, developing strategies, coordinating bid teams, and submitting high-quality proposals together with sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical, and product teams to gather necessary information and ensure all aspects of the bid are addressed.
  • Proposal Development: Develop compelling proposals articulating Lenovo's value proposition and meeting customer requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the bid process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide timely and accurate responses to their inquiries.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of bids and proposals, including win/loss analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Building a RFP answer repository: Develop an AI-based approach to collect, organize, and maintain information supporting the Nordic sales team in engaging with customers and responding to inquiries.
  • Project Management for Large RFPs: Plan, coordinate, monitor, and communicate.
