Job Title: Regional Sales Development Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Development Manager to join our team. This key role will be responsible for business development and sales within the allocated territory in the Nordic region.

The Role:

  1. Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, site visits, and industry-related events.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sales solutions that meet customer needs.
  4. Provide technical support by liaising with experts within the Cavotec organization.
  5. Presentation and explanation of products and services to customers.
  6. Work with customers and Sales Support/Area Sales Managers to ensure product/service offerings meet requirements.
  7. Match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions and help solve product usage problems.
  8. Negotiate and close service and new product opportunities.
  9. Responsible for Order Intake and Contribution Margin from directly developed opportunities.
  10. Meet assigned profitable sales targets.
  11. Build and maintain a sales pipeline tracked on the CRM system (Salesforce).
  12. Support the Regional Sales Director in developing a business plan covering order intake, contribution margin and revenue targets.
  13. Identify major consultants in the area and support OEM Key Account Managers.
  14. Identify opportunities for sales of complex systems (Project Business) and support Area Sales Manager in closing the opportunity.
  15. Assist in setting up sales support activities for the region.

Requirements:

  1. Educated to Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Technical degree level or equivalent experience.
  2. Good interpersonal skills and commercially savvy.
  3. Experience in the designated Region is a plus.
  4. Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
  5. Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar commercial experience.
  6. Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with key technical or mid-management decision makers.
  7. Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts.
  8. Fluency in English.
  9. Willingness to travel.
