About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will oversee sales activities within a specific regionally defined area, focusing on customer relationship management, proposal creation, product presentations, and developing an individual sales strategy within their designated market. Key objectives include:

  • Securing and expanding the company's market position within the designated sales territory.
  • Assuming sales responsibility for specific postal code areas, targeting new customers.
  • Upselling Planet products to existing customers and prospects.
  • Conducting contract negotiations.
  • Planning and executing product presentations for prospects and existing customers.
  • Providing expert advice on our products and services.
  • Handling written and telephone correspondence independently.
  • Preparing and following up on offers.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding offers, contracts, and products.
  • Liaising with other departments and sales partners.
  • Supporting and participating in industry events, trade fairs, and marketing activities.
  • Maintaining sustainable personal relationships with customers.
  • Serving as a contact person for cross-departmental customer interests.
  • Monitoring competitors.
  • Gathering customer feedback and conducting market research.
