The rapidly growing payments market in the technology industry presents a unique opportunity for Planet to expand its customer base and enhance user experience.
About the RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will oversee sales activities within a specific regionally defined area, focusing on customer relationship management, proposal creation, product presentations, and developing an individual sales strategy within their designated market. Key objectives include:
- Securing and expanding the company's market position within the designated sales territory.
- Assuming sales responsibility for specific postal code areas, targeting new customers.
- Upselling Planet products to existing customers and prospects.
- Conducting contract negotiations.
- Planning and executing product presentations for prospects and existing customers.
- Providing expert advice on our products and services.
- Handling written and telephone correspondence independently.
- Preparing and following up on offers.
- Serving as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding offers, contracts, and products.
- Liaising with other departments and sales partners.
- Supporting and participating in industry events, trade fairs, and marketing activities.
- Maintaining sustainable personal relationships with customers.
- Serving as a contact person for cross-departmental customer interests.
- Monitoring competitors.
- Gathering customer feedback and conducting market research.
