Institutional Sales Representative

TIAA's investment management arm, Nuveen, offers a unique opportunity for a sales professional to join its Nordics team.
As a regional sales director, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional and wealth clients in Sweden.
The role requires a strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory landscape, as well as excellent sales and communication skills.
Our team supports the successful candidate with training in product knowledge, process & systems, and relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategy to grow revenue and mandate generation.
- Manage key client relationships at a senior level to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Nuveen teams to drive new business opportunities and solve complex client issues.
- Lead support staff on assigned client relationships to provide client service and implement sales strategy.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years' experience in financial services, asset management industry experience preferred.
- Experience in institutional sales with relevant experience in alternatives and traditional asset classes.
- Established network of decision makers within institutions in the Nordic region.
- Excellent sales skills with ability to close business.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and manage client expectations.
- Solid product and investment knowledge.
- General understanding of financial markets and regulatory landscape.
- Degree in related field (Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing).
