Senior Account Executive, Institutional Sales

Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA, seeks a seasoned sales professional to lead its Nordics team.

As a senior account executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional and wealth clients in Sweden.

The role requires a strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory landscape, as well as excellent sales and communication skills.

Our team supports the successful candidate with training in product knowledge, process & systems, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy to grow revenue and mandate generation.
  • Manage key client relationships at a senior level to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Nuveen teams to drive new business opportunities and solve complex client issues.
  • Lead support staff on assigned client relationships to provide client service and implement sales strategy.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years' experience in financial services, asset management industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in institutional sales with relevant experience in alternatives and traditional asset classes.
  • Established network of decision makers within institutions in the Nordic region.
  • Excellent sales skills with ability to close business.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and manage client expectations.
  • Solid product and investment knowledge.
  • General understanding of financial markets and regulatory landscape.
  • Degree in related field (Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Marketing).
