Senior Sales Director

The Senior Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across Europe by expanding Trustly's gambling merchant base. This involves identifying new merchant opportunities among online gambling operators, creating a substantial pipeline of potential clients, and successfully concluding negotiations with key target merchants to drive new revenue for the company.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and own the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to presenting our services in meetings and contract execution.
- Establish a strong pipeline of gambling operator opportunities across European markets.
- Work closely with the Integration team to ensure our customers implement our services and go live.
- Drive high sales activity output.
- Collaborate with Trustly's Gaming Account Management and Partnership teams, as well as external partners such as PSPs and PAM platforms, to distribute our value proposition and drive sales activity.
- Participate in and contribute to relevant industry marketing activities, including conferences, external events, and meetups.
- A true self-starter with a strong ownership mentality and willingness to see opportunities through to completion.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in complex B2B sales and/or business development, preferably in the payments industry for online gambling.
- A large network in the online gambling and/or payments industry is a plus.
- A solution-driven problem solver with a creative mindset.
- A strong team player with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders with the highest degree of professionalism, firmness, and integrity.
- The ability to discuss and negotiate with customers at CXO-level.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably another European language.
