Commercial Strategy Director

Talga is a leading company in the lithium-ion battery industry, enabling the transition to a sustainable energy future. We are seeking an experienced Group Commercial Manager to drive revenue growth and improve profitability across our business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive business growth and financial sustainability.
- Lead financial planning, analysis, and modeling to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage high-level strategic planning and day-to-day commercial activities.
- Analyze business performance, including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods sold.
- Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget.
- Manage commercial agreements, including MoUs, LOIs, and working with stakeholders to analyze and manage commercial elements.
- Provide pricing analysis to guide offtake discussions and develop pricing tools and templates.
- Solve commercial issues that may arise, ensuring stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams to build and maintain customer relationships.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of commercial management experience in a multi-business or group environment.
- Strong financial background, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high-value contracts, negotiations, and leading teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA highly advantageous.
