Project Manager for Sales and Delivery

About the Opportunity
As a key member of our Sales & Orders team within HVDC Products, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and delivering electric power converters and optic measuring devices to customers. Your primary focus will be on face-to-face and remote sales to new and existing customers, assessing their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
In this position, you will also provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing queries related to product, price, and billing. As the project manager part of your role, you will oversee the delivery of these sales efforts, ensuring timely and cost-effective results.
You will work closely with engineers from HVDC Products to develop system solutions for optical measurement applications. This includes calculating and presenting proposals to customers, as well as managing the delivery of optical measurement devices. Effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including SCM, engineers, and other teams, are essential aspects of this role.
Your Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver commercial and technical tenders to meet customer requirements, budget constraints, and timeframes.
Lead a team of engineers to ensure accurate tendering and delivery of electrical power converter systems.
Develop strong relationships with product management, purchasing, engineering, and production functions to drive business objectives.
Promote effective communication and coordination between HVDC Service, HVDC Greenfield, and internal teams.
Present tender materials to customers, highlighting the value proposition of our solutions.
Cultivate continuous process improvement, refining calculations, procedures, and quality assurance protocols.
Drive departmental initiatives to enhance business performance.
Your Background and Skills
Proven experience in project management or a relevant business/ engineering degree.
Prior knowledge of optical measurement devices for SVC or HVDC applications is a significant advantage.
A structured approach, coupled with a drive for process improvement and innovative thinking.
An ability to thrive in an environment where network-building, human relations, and independent working towards clear deadlines are essential.
A proactive attitude towards identifying and executing tenders, projects, and improvements.
Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Excel and related tools.
