Sales and Operations Manager for HVDC

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Operations Manager for our HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through the development and delivery of high-quality tenders for electric power converters and optic measuring devices. You will also lead a team of engineers to ensure that the correct design is tendered and delivered to customers.

You will work closely with product management, purchasing, engineering, and production functions to drive business objectives. Additionally, you will promote effective communication and coordination between HVDC Service, HVDC Greenfield, and internal teams. Presenting tender materials to customers and highlighting the value proposition of our solutions will also be a crucial aspect of this role.

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver commercial and technical tenders that meet customer requirements and budget constraints.

  • Lead a team of engineers to ensure accurate tendering and delivery of electrical power converter systems.

  • Foster strong relationships with product management, purchasing, engineering, and production functions.

  • Promote effective communication and coordination between HVDC Service, HVDC Greenfield, and internal teams.

  • Present tender materials to customers, emphasizing the benefits of our solutions.

  • Drive process improvement, focusing on refining calculations, procedures, and quality assurance protocols.

  • Lead departmental initiatives to enhance business performance.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in project management or a relevant business/engineering degree.

  • Prior knowledge of optical measurement devices for SVC or HVDC applications is highly desirable.

  • A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • An ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.

  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

  • Proficiency in Excel and related tools.
