Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 10 revenue managers and improving the revenue performance of a portfolio of routes. As Head of Revenue Management EU South, you will deliver on ambitious targets focusing on maximizing revenue from the growing leisure travel segment and have a high and direct bottom line impact for SAS.

You will lead cross-functional workstreams to drive certain competence areas on a global RM level and collaborate with other departments of SAS Commercial to improve results. The position is located at SAS' head office in Stockholm and reports to VP Revenue Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business planning, decision making and follow-up of own portfolio
  • Leadership of ~10 co-workers, including department and individual roadmaps, coaching, performance management, salary revisions, team development, engagement building and contributing to making SAS and RM a great place to work
  • Development and maintenance of the team agenda covering business, ways of working, and people
  • Development and maintenance of an ambitious change agenda in your team to help SAS excel in a challenging and competitive post-pandemic environment
Requirements:
  • Higher academic degree (Master of science or equivalent)
  • Experience with Airline Revenue Management, including understanding of RM theory, RM systems, and the commercial airline business model
  • Leadership experience from managing a team or project with a keen interest in leadership, motivating and developing team members
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to conclude on own point of view of commercial and strategic RM topics
  • Result oriented, strong business acumen with significant drive for continuous development
  • Outgoing with a positive can-do attitude and able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders on all levels of the organization
  • Strong communicator with high degree of integrity and reliability
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English and, preferably, one of the Scandinavian languages
