Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead our Nordic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance improvement by ensuring that the HR agenda is focused on the business needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Organizational Transformations

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive organizational change and improvement, ensuring that HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives.

Manage HR Functions

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including talent acquisition, talent management, and employee engagement.

Provide Strategic HR Advice

Offer expert guidance on HR-related matters, including labor relations, compensation, and benefits.

Lead Talent Acquisition and Sourcing

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the Nordic region.

Manage Talent and Succession Planning

Develop and implement talent management programs to identify, develop, and retain key employees.

Manage Labor Relations

Develop and implement labor relations strategies to maintain positive relationships with employees and unions.

Manage HR Budget and Accounts

Oversee the HR budget and ensure that costs are contained within budget.

Accountable for Labor Relations Functions

Ensure that labor relations functions, including absenteeism, disciplinary records, grievances, and legal disputes, are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Manage Relationships with Trade Union Representatives

Develop and maintain positive relationships with trade union representatives, leading the collective bargaining process.

Report and Monitor HR Metrics

Develop and implement metrics to measure HR performance and identify areas for improvement.

Accountable for Company Processes and Regulations

Ensure that company processes and regulations regarding working environment, data protection, and bribery compliance are upheld.

Risk Assessment and Safe Working Environment

Develop and implement strategies to ensure a safe working environment and minimize risk.

Knowledge of Market Moves and New Laws and Regulations

Stay up-to-date with market moves and new laws and regulations, and develop strategies to address these changes.

Induction Planning, On-boarding, Training Plans, Engagement Strategies

Develop and implement induction plans, on-boarding programs, training plans, and engagement strategies to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

Qualifications
  • Fluency in Swedish and English Language

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Experience in a Labor-Intensive and Fast-Paced Working Environment

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with 7-8 years preferred.

Experience in a Security-Classified Industry

Experience in a security-classified industry is an advantage.

Managed Direct Reports and Previous Experience with Personnel Responsibility

Previous experience with personnel responsibility, as well as leading their own teams.

Experience in Handling Collective Agreements

Experience in handling collective agreements, particularly within the retail sector, is important.

Interest in and Experience with Systems and Digital Solutions

Experience with systems and digital solutions for automating HR processes and reports is essential.

Experience with Payroll Systems and Payroll Processes

Experience with payroll systems and payroll processes is important for improving the current situation.

University Degree in HR or Similar

A university degree within HR, or similar, is desirable.
